Tap Lanes is a fast-paced, endless-running game that puts your reflexes to the test through a simple yet incredibly engaging objective. Whether you’re aiming to break your personal best, complete daily missions, or go head-to-head with friends in split-screen mode, every run offers a chance to sharpen your skills. Step onto the neon track and see just how far your reflexes can take the ball!

Master the Two-Lane Challenge

The track in Tap Lanes consists of only two lanes, but staying safe is no easy feat. The ball rolls forward automatically, and each tap causes it to switch to the opposite lane. You must dodge sharp spikes, walls, crystal shards, barriers, spinning saw blades, laser gates, and floating mines that appear along the way. Successfully clearing an obstacle earns you one point. If you switch lanes at the very last second, you trigger a Close Call, granting you an extra bonus point. You can also tap again while in the middle of a lane switch to send the ball back to its original position.

The difficulty increases as you play. The track speeds up, begins to curve and tilt more sharply, and introduces new hazards—signaled by a New obstacle! alert. You’ll need quick reactions and precise timing to keep your run going.

Choose Your Play Mode

Tap Lanes offers various ways to play, whether you’re looking to set a new personal record or compete against other players.

Endless

Endless is a mode focused entirely on survival and achieving a high score. Dodge obstacles, collect gems, and try to keep your run going for as long as possible. A golden gate labeled "BEST" will appear on the track to mark your current record, making it easy to see the target you need to beat.

Daily Run

Daily Run offers the same track and color palette to all players for that day. Complete the challenge, maintain a daily play streak, and share your results with others. It’s a fantastic way to compare performance under identical conditions.

Missions

Missions keep you focused on new goals, with three active tasks at any given time. Complete sets of three missions to progress through 12 ranks—starting from Rookie and aiming for the ultimate title of Legend. Higher ranks unlock exclusive rewards, including four special ball designs.

2 Players

The two-player mode splits the screen, allowing both players to control their own balls on the same track. Player 1 uses the top half of the screen, while Player 2 controls the bottom half. Each round lasts 60 seconds, and the first player to win two rounds takes the match. Once a match ends, you can jump straight back in for a rematch.

Race

If you don’t have a friend nearby, the Race mode lets you challenge a computer-controlled opponent. Choose from three difficulty levels—Easy, Normal, or Hard—and compete against a ghost ball, complete with its own name and national flag. Matches follow the same 60-second-per-round rule, and the first to win two rounds wins the race.

Collecting Gems

Surviving obstacles isn’t the only goal in Tap Lanes. Gems that appear along the track provide currency that you can use to unlock new ball designs and track styles. There are 23 different ball designs to collect in total. 19 of these can be purchased with gems and feature striking designs such as Disco, Planet, and Rainbow. The remaining four special balls—Comet, Nova, Quasar, and Legend—are unlocked by completing missions and leveling up. You can also choose from 15 different track styles to change the look of the game.
