Gameplay
Dino Game: Tides transforms the classic dinosaur-running experience into a journey through a variety of environments. The T-Rex begins on land before diving into the ocean, later emerging across mountains, deserts, grasslands, and rolling hills.
Each landscape introduces new obstacles and challenges. You might find yourself jumping over rocks and bones on land, then navigating through coral and marine life underwater. The constantly shifting scenery keeps every run fresh and unpredictable.
Master Unique Underwater Leaps
The ocean is one of the most distinctive features of Dino Game: Tides. As the T-Rex dives beneath the waves, it becomes buoyant and moves at a slower pace. Jumps become higher and last longer, creating a different rhythm compared to the high-speed segments on land. Learn to time your jumps carefully as you dodge sea urchins, sea anemones, seashells, coral, anchors, jellyfish, and fish. Navigating underwater requires patience and careful control, rather than just constant jumping.
Running, Jumping, and Dodging
The T-Rex runs automatically, with your score increasing based on the distance traveled. Jump over ground-based obstacles such as rocks, bones, and desert plants. Flying creatures, like pterosaurs, may appear above your path—stay alert and pass beneath them whenever possible. Underwater obstacles demand similar reflexes; however, the slower movement speed and higher jumps make precise timing especially critical.
Collecting Power-Ups and Ammo
Glowing items in Dino Game: Tides provide temporary power-ups to help you survive longer:
- Shield: Protects you from a single collision.
- Double Jump: Allows for an additional jump while in mid-air.
- Score Boost: Accelerates your score accumulation.
- Invincibility: Renders the dinosaur immune to obstacles for a short duration.

Keep in mind, however, that destroying obstacles does not directly increase your score; therefore, jumping skills and survival instincts remain the most important factors.
