Gameplay
WorldGuessr is a geography quiz game where players must determine real-world locations based on street images, famous landmarks, or visual clues. You can move along the road, rotate your view, zoom in on signs, and observe your surroundings before placing a marker on the map. The distance between your chosen location and the actual location will determine the points you receive.
Visual Clues
The most interesting thing about WorldGuessr is that every detail can be an important clue. Street names, billboards, symbols, and signs can reveal the country or region you are in. Simply recognizing Latin, Cyrillic, or Japanese characters can eliminate many incorrect answers.
Dry grasslands, tropical forests, snow-capped mountains, or coastal roads all help you identify the geographical environment. Each country has its own unique architectural style. From Nordic log cabins and Mediterranean architecture to modern buildings in Asia, every detail is valuable.
