Game Overview
Pocket Hockey is an arcade-style hockey game inspired by air hockey, where you must aim and shoot the puck into the goal. It sounds simple, but as obstacles appear, every shot demands precision and perfect timing. Line up your shot, utilize clever ricochets, and try to sink every puck to set a new high score.
Gameplay
Each shot in Pocket Hockey begins with an arrow moving from side to side. You need to click the left mouse button or tap the screen at the right moment when the arrow points in your desired direction. If the puck enters the goal, you earn a point and continue playing; if the shot fails, the game ends. Your goal is to score as many points as possible before missing a shot. You can also use walls and obstacles to create ricochet shots, which boost your score if the puck ultimately finds the net.
Overcoming Obstacles
As your score rises, Pocket Hockey introduces obstacles that make shooting more difficult. Initially, you simply need to shoot the puck straight into the goal. Later, stationary barriers appear, forcing you to use wall bounces to maneuver the puck past them.
In harder levels, obstacles begin to move, making timing even more critical. As the score climbs further, some levels feature multiple obstacles simultaneously.
Scoring System
Pocket Hockey's scoring system rewards precision while allowing you to take risks for extra points.
- Each puck that enters the goal earns you 1 point. Each time the puck bounces off a wall, it can generate bonus points.
- Bonus points from ricochets are only awarded if the puck ultimately enters the goal.
- If the puck bounces multiple times but fails to enter the goal, the turn ends, and you receive no points for that shot.
