Blockader – Survive the Alien Swarm

Blockader is a fast-paced 2D roguelite action game where you control an armed space mouse in a compact lunar arena. Weapons fire automatically, allowing you to focus entirely on movement, dodging, and survival. After each wave, you get the chance to select powerful upgrades. Tailor your character by boosting speed, health, ammo, or special skills to create a build capable of handling increasingly massive swarms of monsters.

Gameplay

Your goal in Blockader is to stay on the move, eliminate enemies, and survive wave after wave. The circular arena leaves little room for error, making positioning just as critical as dealing damage.

Enemies approach from multiple directions and become more dangerous as the match progresses. Navigate the arena while keeping an eye out for snipers and incoming attacks. Avoid getting cornered against the outer edge and utilize the center of the arena to change direction.

Crafting Builds with Powerful Cards

After completing a wave in Blockader, you can choose an upgrade from a randomized selection. The game features over 100 cards with diverse effects, allowing you to customize your build during every run.

Cards can grant extra ammo, chain lightning, poison clouds, ricocheting arrows, and various other useful abilities. Upgrades to movement, health, and ammo also help extend your survival time. If the current options don't suit your strategy, press the Spacebar to reroll—provided the feature is available.

Permanent Progression and Skill Tree

Surviving a single run in Blockader is just one part of your overall progression. Defeated enemies drop stars and cheese coins, which you can use to boost your power for future runs.
